Founded in 1978, Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) is the only national Vietnam veterans’ organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families. VVA's goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans,
and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans.

Memphis Vietnam Veterans Chapter 1113 INC, manages the ALL Veterans Golf Plex.
( 9 hole golf course located at 2146 Ball Road Memphis, TN. ) Our VVA Chapter 1113 will plan, develop, manage, and implement programs to provide adaptive sports activities for disabled Veterans and disabled members of the Armed Forces. Adaptive sports activities mean: (1) instruction, participation, and competition in adaptive sports; (2) training and technical assistance to program administrators, coaches, recreation therapists, instructors, VA employees, and other appropriate individuals; and (3) coordination, Paralympic classification of athletes, athlete assessment, sport-specific training techniques, program development (including programs at the local level), sports equipment, supplies, program evaluation, and other activities related to the implementation and operation of the program.
Local golf professionals are committed to the instruction, guidance, promotion of golf skills, improving character and promoting team building skills. Youth ages 6 - 17.
